Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland has admitted that he would give music up for the chance to play for his favourite football team Tottenham Hotspur.

Q. I am a male named Kelly. Some people consider this a girl’s name. In Ireland and the UK do people consider Kelly a girl’s name. Also what were the blacked out songs on prospekt’s letter saying that the “tracks would be chosen from the following.” and should I put a question mark inside the quote because I do wish to end the sentence there(now what punctuation do I use?).

Coldplay’s head of security is a guy called Kelly. The lead singer of The Stereophonics is called Kelly. Then there’s Kelly McGillis, Kelly Osbourne and Kelly Brook so you see it is a name used for a boy or a girl. The ? should be outside the quotation marks because the sentence you’re quoting isn’t a question itself. The answer to the question though is one that I will meet you half way with. Two of the blacked out titles are Viva la Vida and Postcards From Far Away. The other two can tease you some more.

Is it the “Scientist-Dan”, where they wrote the song about?

Q. Dear Oracle!
First of all I want to say thank you for answering all the questions! I really enjoy reading your answers to all those questions whether they’re Coldplay related or not. Now my question:
I went to the concert in Vienna last Wednesday (which was absolutely amazing!!) and at some point of the show the guys came to the back of the hall to a small space between the crowd and they were performing two songs there (I was standing right in front of them ) Now I was wondering whether they are doing this on every concert or just sometimes?

Q. When the Oracle retires, what Coldplay memory will you treasure?

Hmmm I think there must have been a little conspiracy to get this question answered as it can’t be a co-incidence that so many have asked the same question in the same day! That’s not why I am answering it by the way. The Oracle isn’t easily led. There are too many amazing memories, first gig, first chart entry, first number one album, first Brit. The list goes on. I am going to choose something very current from this tour. You may have read in Roadie #42’s blog about mobile phones being the new glow sticks. Well I have a very short video of that on my phone. It’s such a goosebump inducing moment and one I would share with grandchildren were I to have any but that’s not likely so am hoping great nieces and nephews will suffice? (FYI: That’s directed to the many who asked about grandchildren specifically!)

Q. Since “Viva La Vida” its a title in spanish.. do you think maybe Coldplay would ever release a single in spanish?? Chris’ spanish is so funny…

As you can probably tell Chris isn’t fluent in Spanish so for a band with English as their first language it wouldn’t really make much sense to release a full song in Spanish. The lyric Viva la Vida doesn’t actually appear anywhere in the song either so it’s just a title.
