The nominees have been announced for the “2008 MTV Video Music Awards” which will air on Sunday September 7, 2008 at 9:00pm SHARP (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT).

The “Moonman” contenders for this year’s professional categories are in. The list of “2008 Video Music Awards” nominees for “Best Choreography,” “Best Editing,” “Best Special Effects,” “Best Cinematography” and “Best Art Direction” include a top-notch group of musicians including Coldplay, The White Stripes, Weezer, Adele and Eryka Badu.

MTV’s 25th annual Video Music Awards will be hosted by comedian/actor Russell Brand, the mouth of Britain.

Lil Wayne , Jonas Brothers, Kid Rock, Pink, Rihanna, and Paramore have already been confirmed to perform at this year’s show.

The “2008 MTV Video Awards” nominees for “Best Choreography” include British newcomer Adele, Chris Brown who finds himself nominated for both “Kiss Kiss” featuring T-Pain and “Forever,” Gnarls Barkley and Pussycat Dolls.
