Sony has sent out a final fact sheet on SingStar for the PlayStation 3, clarifying just about everything anyone could want to know about SingStar on the next-gen machine.

The company has also officially confirmed what we reported last month: that thirty songs will ship with the Blu-ray disk. Artists like Gwen Stefani, OutKast, Coldplay, Pussycat Dolls, Razorlight and Wolfmother will feature.

The game will also feature customisable playlists, so you can set certain playlists for certain events. The SingStore will feature over 300 tracks ready for download on day one, and supports background downloading, so you can keep singing while you’re downloading the latest song. Sony has also confirmed the SingStore will be updated monthly from June.

The game includes new menu skins, backgrounds and new voice effects, while photos, audio and video can all be uploaded directly to My SingStar Online. SingStar for the PlayStation 3 will also work with the PlayStation 2 microphones, and the fact sheet states that wireless microphones are “coming soon”.
